BUILDING THE DREAMS OF OUR NEIGHBORS

Do you have a dream for the city of Lowell? We are forming a volunteer response team able to tackle large-scale renovation projects, reducing labor costs by sharing our hands. Lowell Litter Krewe will utilize the massive community support we have already seen to propagate community involvement. Through volunteer community clean-ups, we address the systemic issue of littering and transform Lowell into a city that truly believes in its ability to be the unique, resource-filled, beautiful city we know it can be. This movement is taking over, and as we grow and our model is shared with other cities, our city will be proud to know that it started in Lowell, Massachusetts.

Lowell Litter Krewe is committed to the creation of volunteer clean-up opportunities in Lowell, staying flexible to meet community needs, and providing the tools necessary to get the job done. We say, tomorrow there’ll be more of us, and anything you can dream, together we can build with the talent of our hands, the creativity of our minds, and the depth of our hearts.

TOMORROW THERE'LL BE MORE OF US

The Natural Beauty of the City of Lowell Should be Celebrated

Unfortunately, this is not what is happening. Our gutters and waterways are lined with trash, our parks are overgrown. The Lowell Litter Krewe organizes volunteer community clean-ups with the belief that if we truly clean an area, it will take so much longer before it becomes a dump site again. If we can work together to display Lowell's true potential, it can inspire the maintenance required to keep it this way. If we help our neighbors to feel like their attention and maintenance is effective, it will inspire residents of Lowell to hold itself to higher standards.

CLEANING UP THE COMMUNITY

Before we develop, we are removing years of built-up dumped trash on public land in the city of Lowell. In order to beautify our neighborhoods, we need to clean them completely.

SERVICE

Volunteering within your community is a wonderful way to meet like-minded individuals who care deeply about their home. We strive to make our volunteer clean-ups in Lowell fun and rewarding!

CONNECTING PEOPLE WITH NATURE

Many sites of our large community cleanups have been in areas that are unfamiliar, even to life-long Lowell residents. Our work has taken us all along the Concord and Merrimack Rivers, through wetland areas, in parks and behind schools.
