CLEANUP EVENTS

We are working toward a clean city. Throughout the year, we gather to deep-clean a portion of the city. Our events focus on dump sites, street sweeps, and invasive plant species removal. These events are family friendly and all equipment is provided! This program is in conjunction with the Lowell Department of Public Works.

OPERATION ROSEBUD

Connecting our community through volunteer opportunities is what we do! In the winter, while snow covers the trash, we shovel for Lowell's seniors in need of assistance by matching volunteers to registered seniors. This program is in conjunction with the Lowell Senior Center and Mayor's Office.

GOLD STAR PARK

In partnership with DIY Lowell, LLK has begun development at Gold Star Park, along the Merrimack River at the corner of Bridge Street and VFW Highway. The Conceptual Design Proposal was presented by DIY Lowell and pro-bono designer Jess Wilson after significant community input, and Woodard & Curran has been selected as our engineering firm which will take this design to reality for our first park redevelopment project!
